This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing modules.
You can drag and and drop to rearrange.
You can edit modules to customize them.
The left side has modules you can add!
Some modules you can only access when you get a subscription.
Some modules have options that are only available when you get a subscription.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain modules can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
Yeah, there's a nice title for my first post here.
I need a place for illustrations that don't belong on my comic strip site. I don't feel like coding up a brand new web page. So here I am. I confess I'm new to this whole automated-journal-bloggy-communityish business, so forgive me if I stumble around the dance floor awhile. (At present I'm still processing that this site software doesn't like GIFs. Um, okay..?)
For those who don't know, I've got a webcomic named Gordian Algebra at GordianAlgebra.com. Bop on over and kill a few minutes. If you like it, RSS it and I'll be your friend forever.
Meanwhile I've uploaded a couple of old pen-and-ink doodles from the late 90's. Would you believe I once thought I could make money drawing characters for furry fans? I'd put it down to youthful naivete, except I was like thirty at the time. So let's just call it idiocy.
Anyway the drawings give you the flavor of what I was doing back then. Time was my weapon of choice was a Rapidograph technical pen and I did my damage with dozens of tiny little scratches. (The drawings I just uploaded might have been done with Microns - I'd need archeologists to uncover the originals and see - but you get the idea.)
Hey! Welcome to DA! Like the rest commenting so far it seems I also know you from your comic. It's in my list of web comics that I read, actually (I have them listed and linked in my DA journal ).
So anyway, might as well add you to my watch Your work here is actually pretty cool. I like the bunny scientist hehe.

I've been reading Gordian Algebra and when I read that you've deviated, I came over to add you to the deviants that I watch. Looking forward to seeing more!

A Slice Of Life...
I know I'm risking my status as a crappy webcomic artist by posting here, but my muse, she has an ego and wants exposure.

I did consider spelling Gordian Algebra in all lowercase. But I got over myself.
